DescriptionThe sermon likely was later preached by Allix's son John Peter (Jean Pierre) because Peter Allix died in 1717. John Peter may have been the one preaching the sermon after 1711, even before his father's death, because these entries seem to have been written in a different hand, and he was the vicar at Fordham, the vicar of Swaffham Prior, and the rector of Caslte Camps. [CCED] Allix noted lending the sermon to a Mr B in 1710. There has been considerable editing of the sermon, including some additions and some sections crossed out.
