Contents NoteFrancis Whyte's commonplace book, which he started on 23 June 1686. Whyte has entitled the book "Collections against the Papists". The volume contains sermons on New Testament text in another hand (pp. 197-370), which is unidentified.
Material Features160mm x 100mm. Red morocco binding. The exterior of the volume is in very poor condition, with the front board hanging by a thread. The interior is in good condition, except the first few leaves, and is clearly written. The hand that has written the sermons is also clear, but not as carefully formed as Whyte's.
