Contents NoteThis quarto notebook, comprising two sermons by 'Dr Skynner', has been dated according to the date written in the margins of the first page of the second sermon (see p. 27 of the manuscript). As Robert Skinner (1591-1670), bishop of Worcester, was not awarded the degree of D.D. until 1636, it is presumed that 'Dr Skynner' is Dr. William Skynner of Hereford (c. 1593-1647).
