Contents NoteA eulogy for Josias Shute by Mr. Povey. The title page reads as follows: 'An Elegiack Comemoration of the pious life and most lamented death and Funeralls of Mr. Josiah Shute Rector of the Parish of St. Mary Woolnoth in Lumbard streete Who left vs on the 22d: day of June. 1643 By M:r Pouey.' The scribe appears to have made an error, as Shute died on 13 June 1643.
