DescriptionA sermon on Song of Solomon 2:3 by Mr Jo[hn] Stirling. Preached 'Saturday before the co[mmun]ion ... serm[on] 2', 1 August 1702. The month of 'July' is written down in error but this must be 1 August. MS 408 (very likely the same author) suggests that the 'new church' refers to the Outer High Kirk.
