Other NoteSee Guide to British Historical Manuscripts in the Huntington Library (San Marino, CA: The Huntington Library, 1982), pp. 21-25 for more information about the Ellesmere Collection. This particular manuscript is explored briefly in Joshua Eckhardt, Religion Around Donne (University Park, PA: The Pennsylvania State University Press, 2019). Although the Egerton Family Papers online finding aid categorises Item 9 within this volume as a series of sermons, the present cataloguer has not noted them here as they appear to be closer in genre to the meditation.
